Interestingly, he also was asked about the YouTube campaign to see him play the next Doctor Who! Seems it really is getting attention.
Someone is REALLY REALLY dedicated to convincing people he should be Dr. Who, to the point that I've had to correct his Wikipedia entry six times to take out the statement that he'll play Dr. Who. At this point, I think he's got no better chance than any other fifty-something character actor. With the last two doctors being as young as they were, I very much doubt they're going to go with an older doctor this time, especially one who doesn't actually live in England.
